Address Lookup for US Addresses
An address lookup starts from a street address and returns the people that public records connect to it. MugshotLookup checks public and licensed records for current and past residents, the phone numbers tied to the address, and the official record sources of the county the address is in.
Searches are private. The person you search is not notified.
What a reverse address lookup returns
- People connected to the address in public records, now and in the past
- Phone numbers linked to the address
- The county the address is in, with its official record sources
- Public records for the connected people, in the full report
Each row lists its source and its date, so you can tell a current resident from someone who moved out years ago.
When an address lookup helps
- You are about to move and want to know the history of the address.
- Mail for a stranger keeps arriving and you want to forward it correctly.
- You want to know who public records connect to a house on your street.
- You want to check which addresses public records connect to you.

Limits of address records
Address records lag behind real life. A person can appear at an address after moving out, and a new resident can be missing for months. Property ownership is a separate record kept by the county recorder or assessor, and an owner is not always the person living there.
Addresses and personal safety
An address is sensitive information. We limit repeated searches for the same person, and survivors of domestic violence, stalking and harassment can have their addresses suppressed within 24 hours, for free, on the opt-out page. Using a lookup to find a person in order to harm or harass them is prohibited and can be a crime.
